Harriman State Park Date

Eric and I had the weekend alone, together.  How did that happen?  It doesn't work out this way often but this weekend we focused on what we could do together.  Friday night we met  and ate dinner with Susette, Mike and Kathy.  Reaching out of our norm we all agreed upon the Blue Hashi in Idaho Falls for some pretty impresive Sushi.  Saturday was the day set out for Harriman State Park for a most beautiful day cross country skiing.  Many had the same idea because the parking lot was full but when we left, our pickup was the last to leave.  I must say that the hymn,  "For the Beauty of The Earth," came to mind many times.  The absolute stillness of the fresh mountain air stood out to soothe and replenish our souls.  We ended the day with our favorite wedge salad and potato skins at Ponds lodge.  The cafe was closed but they were serving dinner in the bar.  My mind was set on that dinner so we hung out with the loud drinkers in the nice, friendly bar atmosphere.  This was a complete opposite from the stillness we heard in the park but we did enjoy our dinner.  Thanks Eric for a nice day and treating me so good.  A true example of a good husband. My time in Harriman was a whitness to me  that the Lord lives and created such a beautiful earth for us to enjoy and experience happiness.
