Family Visit to the Rexburg Temple

Was there ever a time that could be treasured as the times with your family in the temple. The Open House brought the Easint family together to walk through this beautiful House of the Lord. We know that much of the work that goes on within temples is concerned with the family and how truly grateful I am for this belief and practice of our faith. Twenty-two family members met on Jan. 1st at 6:40 to enjoy the peacefulness and beauty of the temple. We were missing the Ballard family of 5 who live in P.A. and my son Tyson who had left for Utah to start school at UVSC. My love for the Lord and the work that goes on in the temples has increased and I feel the urgency for the work. As stated by Pres. Hinckley: "The temples come from the vital faith of an ever-growing number who bear witness of a living God, of the resurrected Lord, of prophets and divine revelation, and the peace and assurance of eternal blessings to be found only in the house of the Lord." We're all blessed for this beacon and light on the hill which is seen from both patios and my bedroom window. An experience that tops all celebrations and begins the 2008 with an amazing blessing.
