Birthday Celebration in St. George

A fabulous trip coupled with a June 6th birthday celebration in St. George. Our family and Devin's friend, Desmond Miles, left Tuesday, traveled to Provo and stayed with my good friend Rosie Reed then on to the warm sunny country down South. We haven't seen the warm sun for 2 weeks straight and this was a moment in time that we could really soak in. We golfed, swam, played tennis, hiked for the first time into Snow Canyon on the petrified rocks, and did some biking and shopping. We even got to meet Brady's newest girlfriend--Stephanie Lauren. She goes by Lauren. She has sisters named Robyn and Shannon. Pretty funny. We gave Brady the two thumbs up for her. Friday Julie & Jim and the family joined us to celebrate my birthday. It was one full day of fun. This is my kind of birthday. Up for a great French toast breakfast, on to golf at Sky Mountain in Hurricane where we were surrounded by beautiful scenery. This was followed by swimming and laying in the 85 degree weather, off to hike in Snow Canyon and then back to our time share home for french dip, fruit salad, corn on the cob, pasta salad, Dairy Queen Ice Cream Cake. Who can forget the great toast from my Newdale forever friend Jewel. We finished the night with a good game of Hokey Six and a movie. I think that's enough for one day. Hey Jewel, let's make this a yearly tradition. Thanks to all for a special vacation and fabulous stay in warm, sunny St. George.
