A snow white kind of day. What a perfect one to stay inside and listen to conference. Warning messages were coming across the screen to stay home and off the roads from falling trees and power lines. Quinn and friends lost power and tried listening to the radio in the car until that failed also. Three carloads of college students ended up dropping in for hot chocolate and conference. A warning message was also coming on the screen during the morning session of conference to warn, comfort, correct and give direction. Just a few inspiring thoughts for me to journal .

We can receive personal divine guidance
Enduring to the end, a fundamental requirement: Keep my commandments and endure to the end. It's not just a matter of hanging out ...... it's an active religion. This gospel is a way of life not just a Sunday tradition.
Trust our Father in Heaven: pay a honest tithe, fulfill church responsibilities, have integrity and honesty, make homes a strong place of defense, honoring and loving our children. Do good to those that hate you and pray for those that despitefully use you. Jesus Christ wants us to succeed. You will have days when your head will hang down.
Come unto me and I will give you rest. My kindness will not depart from Thee.
The Savior heals the broken heart.
The gospel will help you endure joyfully to the end.

I can't believe it has snowed there already. I will cry if it snows here anytime soon. i spent the afternoon in the backyard, weeding, while the kids played. It was a BE-U-T-ful day!
